ETL certification
ETL certification is a certification required for products exported to the United States and Canada. The ETL mark indicates that the product has passed the US NRTL and or Canada SCC accreditation test. The ETL mark has the same effect as the UL or CSA mark and meets the relevant safety standards. The product has the ETL listing mark, which means that it has met the requirements. Low requirements for product safety standards.
In addition, the ETL mark indicates that the manufacturer‘s production site complies with a certain range of standard requirements, and it is learned through regular follow-up factory audits to ensure continuous consistency. ETL has been around for over 100 years. The three letters of ETL are the abbreviation of Electrical Testing Labs founded by the inventor Mr. Edison in 1896. ETL stands for innovative, influential, independent and open product testing and rich experience.

ETL certification basic test method
1) Leakage current test: The sample used for leakage current test has not undergone other tests before the test
2), normal temperature rise: test test method: thermocouple: the standard requires the use of 24-30AWG thermocouple, (currently used in the laboratory 30AWG)
3) Leakage current test after tidal state: General test conditions: T= 32+/-2°C, RH= 88 ±2%. Duration: Take out after 48 hours for leakage current test test conditions T=20~30 °C, RH=93+/-3%
4), withstand voltage test: generally no double insulation and grounding products required products: 1000 V / 1 minute (the target voltage ramp time of the equipment is set to 5 seconds, the cut-off current is set to 8.3 mA, and then maintained at the target voltage for 1 minute)
Approval of electrical products is mandatory in most areas of the United States. Any electrical, mechanical or electromechanical product with the ETL mark indicates that the product has met the low requirements of the generally recognized US and Canadian product safety standards, it has been tested to meet the relevant product safety standards; and it also represents the production factory agrees Receive strict regular inspections to ensure the consistency of product quality, and can be sold to the US and Canada markets.
ETL certification and ETL certification mark: then the general ETL certification needs to submit application materials.
At present, there are two ways to obtain an ETL certificate. One is to pass the CB test report, or you can apply directly. The required documents are as follows:
1. Application form
2. Copy of CB test certificate (not required for direct application)
3. Copy of CB test report (not required for direct application)
4. Sample
5. Other relevant test results and product data, such as product manuals, photos, component lists, etc.
(If you pass the CB report, you need to perform a difference test)
ETL certification is a certification required for products exported to the United States and Canada. The ETL mark indicates that the product has passed the US NRTL and or Canada SCC approval test. Intertek is one of the few certification bodies recognized by OSHA and SCC. Our company cooperates with Intertek to represent ETL certification. The ETL mark is recognized as having the same effect as the UL or CSA mark and complies with the relevant safety standards. The fact that a product has the ETL listed mark means that it has met the minimum requirements of the product safety standard.
In addition, the ETL mark indicates that the manufacturer‘s production site complies with a certain range of standard requirements, and it is learned through regular follow-up factory audits to ensure continuous consistency.
